FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Lei are wonderful gift for anyone, anytime, all ages, man or woman on all occasions! Traditionally lei were worn everyday like your favorite hat or earrings. It can be worn to church, at a party, to the beach and for those days when you want to pamper yourself!

  • 1 month in advance is best. Full payment is required to secure and confirm your order. * Orders made less than 2 weeks before event are are subject to a Rush fee.

  • Sizes are adjustable and go by fullness. They match people of all heights, and body sizes. That being said, choose the one you are drawn to the most! ;)

  • Fill out the form at the bottom of any of the lei pages. :)

  • Auwe! We do not ship fresh florals, outside of O'ahu. However, we can make travel-friendly orders for you or your ‘ohana to carry on the airplane :D

    Or on your next visit, put our flowers on your bucket list! :D

  • Please Note: When choosing the Pickup/Delivery date, we highly recommend scheduling this the day of your event or the evening prior to ensure freshness.

    (I am located on the West side of Oʻahu, in the mountain of Kapolei/ close to Koʻolina hotels)

    We require $150 minimum floral order plus delivery/tax for all delivery orders. There is No minimum for pick up orders.

    **Pickup:**

    All orders are available for Pickup in Makakilo, O'ahu during business hours. The Pickup Address will be disclosed via email after the order has been confirmed.

    **Delivery:**

    Delivery is available on O’ahu. Please provide the date, time of your event, and location for a delivery quote.

    General delivery rates:

    Koʻolina ($45)

    Waikiki ($100)

    Kualoa ($150)

    Deliveries are made from 9 am -3 pm.

    *Deliveries earlier or after that, are during Hawaiʻi traffic hours and can affect the delivery quote.

    *Delivery or pick-up requests outside of business days/hours, are subject to an additional fee.

  • Brah, go for it! Here in the islands we wear full sets of lei around our head, neck, wrists, and ankles! Itʻs complimentary to each other.

  • One of my favorite flowers ;)

    Hereʻs a few things I have learned about them:

    • Hibiscus are 1-day bloomers

    • They bloom with the sun around 7:30 am and begin to close around 4pm.

    • Once picked, the flowers are fragile to outside elements (heat, wind, water, touch).

    Ideal use:

    • photoshoots/events 8 am- 4pm

    • indoors

    • Calm weather

    • Worn by ages 9 and up

    • Picked up the same day as event

    That being said:

    • I still wear them while they last

    • Are there other bodacious bloom alternatives? You know it ;)

  • I looove photoshoots!

    I strategically choose each flower and foliage for the way they will translate in the photos.

    I can help you choose florals for the entire ʻohana, create florals scenes, or costumes!

  • We do our best to use sustAINAble practices to minimize our foot print on the environment!

    Smaller orders are wrapped in newspaper.

    Larger orders are placed in recyclable boxes.

    Proper Care and Storage of Lei:

    Until used, store your Lei in a dry and cool place, refrigerator, or an air conditioned room.

    Keep lei wrapped until use and after use to preserve.

    With proper care most Leis can last 3 days.

  • As this is a custom order, cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis.

    Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event date are refundable minus material and transaction fees.

    Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the event date are NON refundable.

    As for returns, there are No Returns.

  • Coconut weaves are approximately 7 feet, and 2 feet wide. Like a surfboard.

  • Weaves stay green in cool conditions for 1-2 weeks and gracefully dry over time. They can last a decade if taken care of!

    We do not ship our giant weaves outside of O'ahu. However, you or your ‘ohana can pick one up and check it in at the airport! :D

WORKSHOPS

  • To secure your desired date and time, please book your private workshop a minimum of 8 weeks prior to your event date.  Workshop inquiries/booked less than 8 weeks prior to the event date are subject to a rush fee ($100+).

    After submitting the Private Workshop Form, a floral artist of Kahihae will be in touch with you. Please have all requested information available.

    To place a reservation, a non refundable retainer is due to secure your date.

    Final Payment is due 31 days prior to the event.

  • If for any reason Client cancels this Agreement less than 60 days before the Event, Florist will keep the non-refundable Retainer. Cancellations made less than 31 days prior to the event are nonrefundable.
